The Ballet Tank is made of a sturdy fabric which makes it a great travel piece, quiet flattering, it can be weared as a shirt over or under pants, but even as a summer dress depending on the size you go for. You might go without bra if you like. It fits true to size but being so elasticated you might go up one or even two size for a longer and looser fit. It lasts forever and never looks old.
I have this in black, brown, and purple and I wear one of them every day, even in the winter as an under-layer. I am very tall and it is hard to find shirts that are long enough to cover my bottom but these do. They are so incredibly comfortable and versatile, and the colors are neutral enough to go with everything I own! If you don't own one of these, you are missing out! But be careful, you buy one, you'll be getting more!!!
I'm going to need to order another one because I wear this tank all the time! I wear it in place of a bra, layered under everything from a Crop T to a Tunic dress. The generous length means that with crop T, the tank looks like mini skirt over some leggings. Under a tunic or empire waist dress, it provides an extra layer for chillier days. I could even see it being the perfect sleepwear, which is why of course I need like, 3 more!
Extremely comfortable, the fabric is lightweight but perfectly opaque. Love the tunic length for variety.
The cut and the fabric together make for a very practical and comfortable long tank that is also somehow really sexy too. I can even work out in it, or I can layer it under a gauzy silk blouse for dressing up. But mostly I just wear it for anyday/everyday and feel fabulous in it. I own a few and one started coming undone at the bottom seem right away, which is the only imperfection.
