Hemp is an amazingly strong, long-lasting fabric that launders easily. Hemp becomes softer with each wash without losing fiber integrity. Given reasonable care, your Sweet Skins will render a lifetime of service.

Wash: with like colors in cold water on the gentle cycle. Use eco-safe detergent without Optical Brightening Agents or Bleach which will harm fabric and alter the appearance of the garment’s color. Line or tumble dry.

Lycra blend Hemp: Wash as above but dry away from direct sunlight which can damage the lycra. Clothes rack or med/low heat in the dryer is best.

Wrinkles: a quick tumble on low in the dryer can remove wrinkles or use a garment steamer for a flawless and easy finish every time.

We use Fiber-Reactive Low-Impact Dyes: for brilliant color, permanent & minimum life time fading, while casting a lighter foot print on the environment.

Over time and wear, your hemp clothing will soften up more and more. Hemp is a remarkably strong and supple fiber, and should last many moons! But like all our most beloved clothing, they will wear thin eventually. In case of inner thigh and seam rips, we will happily re-sew your pieces for you, as salvageability allows (small mending fee of $10 per item. Be creative patching up holes and conscious about giving your old pieces to others who may be delighted to receive your left-overs!
