A Birth Story

by | Aug 5, 2021 | People, Spiritual | 0 comments

A few times in my life, I have had the high honor of supporting a women in labor. Last week one such occasion arose. A truly special one. My girl @mysticalhealing.guide labored most of the day, myself and bestie Joanne Nichole, by her side. 🥰

Soon joined by two amazing midwives and teenage daughter.. My kind of sister circle. 💫

And it all happened in a home, that was prepared years earlier by another dear mama friend! @taooflizzy 🙏🏽 Blessing upon blessing ~ It is truly amazing, the way women go to the absolute edge of life, to bring new life in from some other dimension.

For an emotional moment all the memories flashed through my head, while she dozed between contractions; everything we have each been through over these years.. Loves, losses, heartbreak, homes, kids, men, poverty, to wealth building.. I am so proud of who we have each become. I don’t know.. Women are just amazing. We do everything. We are incredibly versatile, resilient, powerful and unsung.

Baby girl was born just before 10pm. I got home around 2am, high as a kite. 🪁 Life is just a wild, beautiful, painful, unpredictable adventure. And so is every birth. 💫
